True Crime (?) Rant

Jennifer Wilbanks, the Atlanta, Georgia woman who ran away just days before her wedding was found safe early Saturday morning. She claimed that she had been kidnapped, but after talking to police and FBI, she admitted that she had cold feet and simply run away.

Well, goody for her.  I hope she apologizes not only to her family but to all the people who were out there searching, hour after hour.  She also needs to apologize to all the law enforcement officers who spent time on this case when they should have been working on real cases.

Apparently there are criminal charges pending, and I hope they do charge her. There are too many real abductions going on, and anyone who has the audacity to lie about that sort of thing should be held accountable.
